 Giving Thyanks to God for Rene Coe
Rene passed away in the early hours of Monday 21st June. Prayers will be said at 11:30 am at the Church on Tuesday morning with Rene's family and friends. The service of committal follows at 13:30 pm at the City of London Crematorium. There will be a service of Thanksgiving at the Church at 1:30 pm. This will be followed by refreshments. All are warmly invited to attend any or all of the above in remembering Rene and giving thanks to God for her life.

Special Offering for Sri Lanka
In response to the severe flooding in Sri Lanka and Kenya recently we are looking to collect a special offering to give to the relief work via Christian Aid. If you wish to make a donation please click here

Thank You - Open Garden Day in aid of Christian Aid
Thank you so much to everyone who helped in preparing for the day and on the day. It was a great team effort and very much appreciated. A significant amount of money, £678, has been raised for Christian Aid as a result. Thank you to all who supported the day and contributed to makint it a very successful event.

Thank you - Sainsburys 'Active Kids' and Tesco 'For Schools & Clubs' vouchers
We have been collecting Sainsbury's vouchers for Selwyn Primary School (1348 were collected) and Tesco vouchers for the Boys' Brigade (332 were collected). Thank you so much for your help in this.

We are Looking for Drivers please
Please do speak to Pauline (Stanton) if you would be willing to assist on an ‘every now and then’ basis should lifts for people on a Sunday morning be needed. Many thanks.

Baptism
If you would like to talk with Jonathan about being baptised please do speak to him. There is a leaflet available at the back of the Church, for you to take away, that tells you about what it means to be baptised.

Gathered Prayer
Each Monday, from 10 – 11 am, there is the opportunity for people to meet together in the Prayer Room at the Church to pray for the life and work of the Church and the local community. If you would like to come, and are able to, on any Monday morning, please do - that would be great.

Cell Groups
The Cell Groups are small groups of people who meet for friendship, support and Bible study / application. The groups meet twice a month at different times through the week. Please do think about whether you would like to join one of them. Do see speak to one of the Cell group leaders (details are on the notice board).

Church Membership
Do speak to Jonathan if you would like to talk about becoming a Church member - he would be really pleased to talk with people about this. Church membership is a special and significant way to identify yourself with H.P.B.C and to show your commitment to the life and work of this Church. Prayer Chain
A reminder to you that we have a Prayer Chain that operates to respond to urgent prayer needs concerning those in the Church, family and friends and the local community. Please do ring Jonathan if an urgent need for prayer arises and he will pass the details along the Prayer Chain.

Prayer
As a Church we do want to pray for people that all might know God's power and peace. If you would like someone to pray with you today please do make it know and we will gladly pray with you.
