Prayer

Prayer

As a Church we believe in the power of prayer. We experience answers to prayer not because of us but because of God.

We invite you to pray the words of what is known as 'The Lord's Prayer' each day:

The Lord's PrayerThe reason the prayer is so named is because they are words that Jesus gave to his followers when they approached him and asked that he teach them to pray. Followers of Jesus believe and trust in Jesus as 'Lord' - as God and 'Master' over our lives.

Gathered Prayer:

Between 10 am and 11 am on a Monday there is opportunity to pray for individuals, family, friends, the community and the world. Contact Phil Slaney or email prayer@hpbc.co.uk for more details.

The Prayer Tree

The Prayer Tree is in the welcome area for all to use. If you are worried about anything in your life then write it on a tag and hang it on the tree. Your prayer will then be included in our prayers at a Church Service, Prayer Group or Cell Group.
